Job summary

Mercy in Missouri seeks registered nurses to float among Pediatric ICU, Pediatrics, and NICU, delivering patient-centered care using the nursing process and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

This is a dayshift position, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., full-time with weekend and holiday rotations. Only experienced nurses are considered; new graduates are not eligible. Join a mission-driven team with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Maintain current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experienced nurses only; no new graduates.
• Physical ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Dayshift 7a-7p. Full time only. Will rotate weekends/holidays.

Experienced Nurses only- No new graduates.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements/demands:
  • Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
