Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our night shift on a full-time basis (36 hours per week). The RN will apply the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, maintains an RN license (state or compact), and holds BLS certification or completes it within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Licensed as an RN in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Full Time (36 hours/week) -Nights

Education:

Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program

Licensure:

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Physical Requirements/demands

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

Certifications

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
