Job summary

Spencer Hospital in Spencer, IA is seeking a registered nurse to assist with chemotherapy infusions and provide comprehensive cancer care. The role emphasizes direct and indirect physical, psychosocial and spiritual support for patients with cancer and related conditions, within a collaborative team.

Candidates must hold an IA RN license with at least one year of nursing experience; BSN and oncology credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

Active IA RN licence required.
Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
BSN and oncology experience preferred.
Oncology Certification (OCN) is preferred but not mandatory.
Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Certification required prior to completion of orientation/chemo administration

Responsibilities

Assist with chemotherapy infusions.
Provide direct and indirect physical, psychosocial and spiritual care for patients with cancer and related disease processes
