Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to patients of all ages in Elko, Nevada. This role involves patient assessments, nursing interventions, and electronic documentation to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.

  • Document medical necessity in patient records.
  • Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
  • Conduct timely Quality Improvement assessments.

Our Behavioral Health Department embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, which are essential for providing specialized care to patients. This department provides clinical care for patients from Neonatal to Geriatric patients.

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
Whatwe'relooking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • ACLS and PALS are required.
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • ASLS certification preferred.
