Essential Functions

Sign‑on bonus:$15,000 for experienced Registered Nurses;$12,000 for New Graduates.

Our Behavioral Health Department embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to patients. The department provides clinical care for patients from neonatal to geriatric.

How You’ll Contribute
  • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
  • Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
  • Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
  • Perform plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
  • Document patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
  • Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs).
  • Assess learning needs and deliver age‑ and culture‑appropriate patient and family education.
  • Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
  • Participate in unit and organizational performance improvement and required continuing education.
  • Provide quality patient care and work other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on‑call.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
  • Current state Registered Nurse license.
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Basic Life Support certification (required).
  • ACLS and PALS certifications (required).
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • ASLS certification preferred.
