Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Women’s Services Department, offering comprehensive clinical care to patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric. This position focuses on patient assessments, interventions, and documentation.

Applicants must hold a current state RN license and an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school, alongside required certifications like BLS, ACLS, and PALS. We prioritize your well-being and career growth, providing a supportive and rewarding environment.

Qualifications

  • Possess a current RN license in the state and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Basic Life Support, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
  • One year of nursing experience preferred.

Our Women’s Services Department embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to patients. This department provides clinical care for patients from neonatal to geriatric.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
Qualifications

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.

  • Basic Life Support certification is required
  • ACLS and PALS certifications are required
  • One year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred
