Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, NV is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to serve as Charge Nurse, leading patient care teams and ensuring compliance with care plans and documentation. The Charge Nurse will assess patient needs, coordinate interventions, and support the interdisciplinary care team while maintaining high standards of patient safety and service excellence.

This role requires an RN license, an associate's degree in nursing, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least one year of

  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
  • BLS certification is required; ACLS and PALS are required.
  • ASLS certification preferred; one year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
