Job summary

Ardent Health in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Day shift, full-time Charge Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (RN) CV Specialist. You will provide advanced nursing care in a cardiac cath lab, respond to emergencies, and support invasive radiology teams using pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilation.

The role requires an Oklahoma RN license, ACLS/BLS, and 3+ years of cardiac/ICU care, with a preferred BSN and 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Oklahoma RN license required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in Cardiac Cath Lab and invasive radiology settings.
• Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
• Organize patient care, prioritize, delegate, and evaluate ongoing needs.
• Apply nursing process per hospital policies and protocols.

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

• Utilize knowledge base of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Respond to life threatening situation with appropriate interventions.
• Practice in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Invasive Radiology environment through the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, included but not limited to cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.
• Organize patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience on cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU)
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nursing license
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certified

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five (5) years' experience on cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU)
