Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (RN). This role supports advanced cardiac care in a welcoming community hospital known for its orthopedic care and RN residency program.

The RN will respond to life-threatening situations, apply nursing processes per hospital protocols, and work in a Cardiac Cath Lab/IR setting with pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilation support. ACA essential. Excellent benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Oklahoma RN license.
• Must obtain and maintain a current BLS.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire if not already certified.
• Preferred: NIHSS; 2+ years on cardiac floor or CCU.

Responsibilities

• Responds to life-threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
• Delivers nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols.
• Provides care in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology environment with cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilation.
• Organizes patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating continuously.

• Utilizes knowledge bases of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Responds to life threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
• Practices in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Invasive Radiology environment through the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, included but not limited to cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation.
• Organizes patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Licensure: Current Oklahoma RN license
• Must obtain and maintain a current BLS
• If ACLS certified upon hire, must maintain; otherwise, obtain certification within the first 6 months of employment and maintain

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Experience 2 years on cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU)
• NIHSS
