Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Day Shift, full-time Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (RN) CV Specialist to deliver specialized nursing care in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab environment.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, Oklahoma RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and several years of cardiac/critical care experience. Stay engaged with advanced technology and patient-centered care in a People-First culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience on cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU).
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nursing license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certified.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five (5) years' experience on cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU).

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Respond to life threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
• Practice in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Invasive Radiology environment applying theoretical knowledge and practical skills including cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.
• Organize patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
