Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (RN) CV Specialist to join our team. You will deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, respond to life threatening situations with appropriate interventions, and work in the Cardiac Cath Lab with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and pacing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience on cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU).
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nursing license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certified.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge base of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Respond to life threatening situation with appropriate interventions.
• Practice in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Invasive Radiology environment through the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, included but not limited to cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.
• Organize patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
