Job summary

The Valley Health System, serving Southern Nevada, seeks a Registered Nurse with strong Utilization Management skills to lead discharge planning and coordinate care across teams. The role emphasizes safe patient transitions and maximizing appropriate reimbursement.

Candidates should have RN licensure in Nevada and at least three years of varied clinical experience, including Utilization Review or Case Management. This is a full-time on-site role within a hospital network offering solid benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• A minimum three years experience in varied clinical settings. Two years experience in Utilization Review, Utilization Management or Case Management preferred.
• Applicant must have knowledge of social and physical factors that affect functional status at discharge, and knowledge of community resources to meet post discharge clinical and social needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide proficient timely utilization management services to maximize reimbursement.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and healthcare team to achieve quality outcomes.
