Job summary

The Valley Health System, serving Southern Nevada, seeks an experienced RN for Utilization Review to lead discharge planning and ensure efficient resource use. Collaboration with patients, families, and care teams drives optimal outcomes and reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum three years of varied clinical settings; two years in Utilization Review/Management or Case Management preferred.
• Knowledge of social and physical factors affecting discharge and community resources.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and data collection/management software.
• Current Nevada RN license to practice.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
