Job summary

The Valley Health System, a growing Nevada-based health network, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to lead discharge planning and utilization management across its facilities in Southern Nevada. You will coordinate safe patient discharges and ensure optimal reimbursement through proactive care collaboration.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of varied clinical experience, with two years in Utilization Review or Case Management, and hold an active Nevada RN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum three years of experience in varied clinical settings.
• Two years experience in Utilization Review, Utilization Management or Case Management preferred.
• Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Establish safe, individualized discharge plans and provide timely utilization management services.
• Collaborate with patient, family and healthcare team to achieve goals in care and reimbursement.
