Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a registered nurse to lead safe, individualized discharge planning and provide efficient utilization management to maximize reimbursement for patient visits. You will collaborate with patients, families and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Minimum three years in clinical settings with two years in utilization management preferred. Nevada RN license required and strong computer skills are essential for data collection and management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience; two years in Utilization Review/Management or Case Management preferred.
• Knowledge of discharge planning, social and physical factors affecting functional status at discharge.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and data management software.
