Job summary

The Valley Health System in Southern Nevada is seeking a registered nurse to lead discharge planning and provide proficient utilization management to optimize patient flow and reimbursement. You will collaborate with patients, families and the healthcare team to ensure safe, individualized discharge planning.

Requirements include at least three years of varied clinical experience, with two years in Utilization Review/Utilization Management or Case Management preferred, plus an active Nevada RN

Qualifications

• Three years minimum of clinical experience in varied settings.
• Two years in Utilization Review/Utilization Management or Case Management preferred.
• Knowledge of social and physical factors affecting discharge and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Establish safe, individualized discharge planning.
• Provide timely utilization management services to maximize reimbursement through collaboration with patient, family, and healthcare team.
