Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating with physicians, support services, and families.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in New Jersey (or eligible), with required BLS/CPR; experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program is preferred. HMH offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
Current and valid Registered Nurse license to practice in the assigned HMH location.
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
Six (6) or more months of nursing experience OR participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Coordinate care and communication among patients, families, and health care staff.
Administer medications and document care using electronic systems.
Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge instructions.
