Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide direct and coordinated patient care within a multidisciplinary team. You will expand knowledge, deliver high-quality direct care, and help coordinate unit activities to support patient outcomes.

Position requires an RN license, BLS/CPR within 60 days, and either 6+ months nursing experience or active Nurse Residency participation. BSN in progress is encouraged and national certification is preferred when eligible.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Six months or more nursing experience OR active Nurse Residency Program.
• BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years of hire.
• National Certification in specialty area preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve outcomes.
• Directs and oversees care by other caregivers through delegation and coordination.
• Coordinates patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
