Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey nursing license required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required.
• BSN in progress or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six or more months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency with Hackensack Meridian Health.
• Oncology experience preferred; chemotherapy/biotherapy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care per policies and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate care, communicate care plans, and educate patients and families.
• Use bar-scanning and documentation technologies for medication administration.
• Support safe discharge planning and transition of care.
