Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency with Hackensack Meridian Health.
• Telemetry certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care based on evidence-based policies and standards.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and ensure safe patient transitions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with timely documentation.
• Communicate with patient/family and health care team about care plans.
