Job summary

Med Career Solutions in Gainesville, FL seeks an RN Cardiac Tele Med-Surg for a full-time permanent role. Only 1 year of RN experience is required, and Florida RN licensure (or compact licensure with active FL license within 60 days) is needed.

You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for cardiac med-surg patients; instruct families on medications; maintain patient records; and administer medications per physician orders.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required or in any setting (LTAC, SNF, Home Health, etc.).
• Florida RN license or compact licensure with active FL license within 60 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days; ACLS within 90 days of start date.

We’re currently hiring RN’s for a full-time permanent opportunity with a well-established health care organization located in the Gainesville, FL area! ONLY 1 year of RN experience is required!!

What you will do in this role:

• You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of cardiac med-surg patients.
• You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license is required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Compensation:

Pay Rate: UP to $43.20/hr. base pay

Shift Diff: $4.25/hr. nights; $3.00/hr. weekends
