Job summary

Med Career Solutions is hiring an RN Renal Vascular in Gainesville, FL. The role supports both day and night shifts with rotating weekends, and requires just 1 year of RN experience. You will assess and plan patient care, educate patients and families, maintain records, and administer medications per physician orders.

Florida licensure or compact license is required, with active FL RN within 60 days. A BSN is preferred and BLS and NIHSS certifications are required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Florida RN license or compact licensure; active FL license within 60 days of hire.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year of RN experience required.

We’re currently hiring RN’s for a full-time permanent opportunity with a well-established health care organization located in the Gainesville, FL area! ONLY 1 year of RN experience is required!!

Position: RN Renal Vascular

Shift: Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)

What you will do in this role:

• You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Renal Vascularpatients.
• You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

What qualifications you will need:

• ONLY 1 year of RN experience required. Would be open to any setting (LTAC, SNF, Home Health, etc.)
• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license is required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• NIHSS certification required must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.

Compensation:

Pay Rate: UP to $43.20/hr. base pay

Shift Diff: $4.25/hr. nights; $3.00/hr. weekends
