Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Florida.
• BSN preferred at time of hire.
• RNs hired without a BSN must obtain a BSN within 3 years of hire.
• Professional nursing board certification preferred at hire; required within 2 years if eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status, identifying actual and potential health concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans using evidence‑based practices.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Engage patients and families as active participants in care planning and delivery.
• Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality.
• Delegate and supervise care provided by LPNs and UAPs.
• Promote a positive unit culture and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Uphold standards of patient advocacy, safety, and clinical excellence.

Education

Florida RN license

BSN preferred

BSN within 3 years if no BSN
