Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN degree required or equivalent.
• Current Florida RN license.
• Professional nursing board certification preferred at hire or within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient health alterations and respond to actual or potential health problems.
• Assess patient responses to health problems and document changes.
• Implement nursing interventions based on nursing concepts and evidence.
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise/direct care provided by LPNs and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel.
• Coordinate care with other professional disciplines as needed.
