Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Risk Manager for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Deer Park, NY. This full-time leadership role combines clinical oversight with risk management, QA, and regulatory readiness to uphold patient safety and compliance.

You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate staffing, monitor incidents, and lead corrective actions while collaborating with leadership to optimize quality care and regulatory readiness across daily

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Prior experience in risk management, QA, or compliance strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations, including survey processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily management of nursing operations and staff oversight.
• Support staffing coordination, scheduling, and clinical workflow efficiency.
• Provide supervision, guidance, and evaluation of nursing personnel.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
• Participate in survey readiness and regulatory inspections.
• Lead the facility’s risk management program, including incident investigations.
• Track, trend, and analyze incidents to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans to reduce risk exposure.
• Oversee QA & Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely reporting of incidents and compliance matters.
• Educate staff on risk prevention strategies and best practices.
