Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years in long-term care.
• 2 years of management experience preferred.
• 1 year staff education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DNS with management responsibilities and quality of care oversight.
• Conduct weekly wound/skin rounds.
• Support compliance efforts and clear communication across nursing staff levels.
• Ensure resident nursing and medical needs are met.
• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage.
• Coordinate and direct overall nursing service planning.
• Apply nursing theory and clinical practice knowledge.
• Oversee timely medical records completion.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new staff.
• Manage daily staffing and infection control protocols.
• Maintain schedule flexibility for operational needs.
