Margate Health & Rehabilitation in Jefferson, NC is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. The ADON will help organize, develop and direct the Nursing Service Department and act as a leader while supporting the DON in their absence.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license and has at least two years of supervisory experience in a nursing care facility, with a focus on documentation, resident communication, and on-call

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a nursing care facility.

Responsabilités

• Organize, develop and direct operations of the Nursing Service Department.
• Serve as a leader and role model for nursing staff and cover DON duties in DON's absence.
• Assist with documentation and reporting required by the Board of Nursing.
• Maintain communication with residents and families; support care planning.
• Participate in on-call rotation with nurse managers.
