Margate Health & Rehabilitation in Jefferson, NC seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the Nursing Service Department. The ADON will organize and direct nursing operations and serve as a role model for staff.

The role includes relieving the DON in their absence, maintaining nursing records, and supporting communication with residents. On-call rotation with other nurse managers is required

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in a nursing care facility.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop, and direct operations of the Nursing Service Department.
• Relieve the Director of Nursing (DON) in their absence and assist with documentation and reports.
• Assist with visiting and communicating with residents; participate in on-call rotation with other nurse managers.
