Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehab seeks an RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help lead our clinical team.

In this leadership role, you'll partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, mentor staff, promote clinical excellence, and uphold high standards that support residents' well-being. Qualifications

• Current RN license is required
• Experience in Long-Term Care preferred
• 2 years of management experience preferred
• 1 year of staff education experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills required
• Flexible hours required

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing needs of all residents
• Coordinate infection control
• Educate nursing staff
• Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
• 24 hours on call
• Coordinate and direct the total planning for nursing services
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
• Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff
• Oversee the daily staffing process
• Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs
