Life Care Center of Auburn is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a full-time RN leadership role. The ADON supports the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing Nursing Services to ensure high-quality patient care in compliance with laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires an RN with an ASN/BSN, active state license, CPR certification, and 2 years of geriatric nursing experience preferred. CPR must remain current; on-call rotation is part of the duties.

Qualifikationen

• ASN or BSN from accredited college or university.
• Currently licensed/registered RN in good standing throughout employment.
• Two (2) years' geriatric nursing experience preferred, preferably in post-acute care.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation; CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Aufgaben

• Assist the DON in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and directing the Nursing Services department.
• Interview, select, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise nursing staff.
• Oversee care provided by nursing staff and infection control responsibilities.
• Take on DON duties in their absence and provide direct nursing care as necessary.
• Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
