Job summary

Life Care Center of Littleton is seeking an RN to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the DON in planning, directing nursing services to ensure high-quality patient care.

This full-time, on-site role requires RN licensure, ASN/BSN, CPR, and geriatric/post-acute care experience; on-call duties are included. Competitive pay range with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN from accredited college or university.
• Currently licensed/registered as RN in good standing.
• Two (2) years' geriatric nursing experience preferred, post-acute care.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, developing, evaluating and directing the Nursing Services department.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise nursing staff.
• Oversee care provided by nursing staff and infection control responsibilities.
• Act as DON in the DON's absence and provide direct nursing care as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships and adhere to Life Care policies and code of conduct.
