Job summary

Life Care Center of Tullahoma is actively seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in guiding the Nursing Services department. The role emphasizes quality patient care in a post-acute setting, adherence to regulations, and Life Care standards.

Qualified applicants will hold an ASN or BSN, maintain an active RN license, and have geriatric nursing experience. CPR certification is required or obtained during orientation.

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN from accredited college/university.
• Active RN license in good standing in the applicable state.
• Two (2) years' geriatric nursing experience preferred, post-acute care.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Nursing Services department.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise nursing staff.
• Oversee care provided by nursing staff and infection control responsibilities.
• Act as DON in the absence of the DON; provide direct nursing care as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships; follow Life Care policies.
