Job summary

Villa Healthcare at Silverbell Estates is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing RN to join their team. The ADON will supervise the nursing staff, ensure quality of resident care, and partner with the DON and Administrator on operations and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong management and budget skills, CPR, an RN license, and a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing. Travel up to 10% may be required, with opportunities for growth and advancement within a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nursing; current RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• 3+ years nursing/leadership experience; ADON preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage nursing staff; schedule breaks.
• Assist DON in daily management and policy enforcement.
• Participate in admissions and resident needs assessments.
• Ensure physician visits are conducted as required.
• Ensure equipment, supplies, and staffing meet resident needs.
• Manage nursing department budget and provide planning input.
• Collaborate on staff development programs with DON and Administrator.
• Plan programs to improve resident care outcomes and reduce avoidable hospital returns.
• Maintain Abuse & Neglect policies across the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
