Qualifications

• Active RN license with management or supervisory experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Verify current licensure and credentials of nursing staff.
• Assist with scheduling and guest rounds to monitor nursing care quality.
• Maintain proper charting and documentation of care and medications.
• Help develop and implement the staffing plan and nursing schedule.
• Contribute to facility budget decisions for nursing supplies and staffing.
• Stay current on managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations and reimbursement rules.
