Job summary

Azria Health Longview is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) RN to provide administrative and functional supervision over nursing staff. The ADON will work under the Administrator and support the DON in delivering high‑quality resident care in a long‑term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, has supervisory experience in long‑term care, and demonstrates strong leadership, teaching ability, and collaboration with residents, families, and departments to plan

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years supervising nursing staff in long‑term care.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to teach and lead across all shifts.
• Able to liaise with residents, families, and support departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, organizing, developing and directing the nursing department’s operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and standards governing long‑term care.
