Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a registered nurse for admissions in a full-time, dayshift role in Missouri. The position includes an on-call rotation every eight weeks and a $10K sign-on bonus. SOC/OASIS experience is required. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including medical plans and PTO.

Responsibilities include initial assessments, OASIS completion, plan-of-care implementation, patient education, and coordination with care teams to ensure continuity of care at home.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state you are assigned to work.
• One year of RN clinical experience preferred or as approved by VP of clinical.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs start of care comprehensive assessment, evaluation, development and implementation of plan of care.
• Completes OASIS assessments timely and accurately.
• Provides skilled nursing care per plan and agency policies.
• Communicates with staff, physicians, family, and community resources to maintain continuity of care.
• Initiates referrals when indicated.
• Promotes patient health through teaching and rehabilitative measures.
• Assists patients in self-care techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• One year of clinical experience as an RN. If less than one year clinical experience, you must be approved by VP of clinical.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.
