Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the NT6 Observation unit. The unit is a 43-bed, fast-paced area providing acute care with 24–48 hour patient stays. You will work under physician and team supervision with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Requirements include RN license upon hire, BLS within 30 days, and a Nursing Diploma. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants who commit to the role and 3-year term.

Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS within 30 days
• RN License upon Hire
• Work Experience: RN > 1YR

Responsibilities

• Performs all required nursing duties on the Observation unit.
• Maintains accurate documentation of nursing care and plans of care.
• Performs initial patient assessments and develops care plans.
• Implements and adjusts nursing interventions and ensures patient safety.
• Attends staff meetings as required.
