St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 32-hour Evening shift (3pm–11:30pm).

The role provides direct nursing care per policies and protocols, with a focus on coordinated interdepartmental collaboration. The position supports residency for new grads, tuition reimbursement, loan forgiveness, wellness programs, PTO and health insurance, on-site parking, and employee discounts.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current Connecticut RN license.

Mansioni

• Implements and monitors patient care plans; reports patient condition.
• Serves as primary coordinator of disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Carries out physician and nursing orders as directed.
• Assists with discharge planning and care coordination with the healthcare team.
• Provide individualized care considering physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and age-related needs.
• Delegates care tasks to nursing staff as appropriate.
• Participates in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds to discuss outcomes.
• Upholds ANA standards and ethics in practice.
• Develops, implements and revises care plans.
• Participates in professional growth activities and other duties as assigned.
