Job summary

Aperion Care in Illinois seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents on the 2nd shift and supervise nursing assistants. You will administer medications, coordinate with physicians, maintain documentation, and ensure safety protocols while fostering a warm, collaborative environment.

Part-time roles are available without benefits; full-time roles may include a sign-on bonus and opportunities to grow within the facility.

Qualifications

• RN with an active state license.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws and guidelines for long-term care.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Willing to take required training as state may require.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Complete required documentation and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to meet residents' needs.
• Maintain safety protocols and foster a warm, collaborative environment.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and daily routines.
