Responsibilities involve coordinating with physicians, ensuring safety protocols, and fostering a warm, collaborative unit.

Qualifications

• RN with a current unencumbered state license.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations and guidelines for nursing care facilities.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to be flexible and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Plan and oversee daily nursing activities and ensure quality care.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician and document accurately.
• Coordinate with physicians and other departments to meet residents' needs.
