Century Care Management is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our long-term care team in Jamestown, NC. The role focuses on comprehensive resident assessment, care planning, and clinical supervision to maintain high-quality patient care.

Qualified candidates hold an ADN or BSN with an unrestricted RN license and experience in geriatric settings. Proficiency with EHRs and strong collaboration skills are essential for coordinating care with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing processes, care planning, and clinical assessment.
• Ability to perform comprehensive resident assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Skilled in medication administration, wound care, IV therapy (where permitted), and complex clinical interventions.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care facilities, including CMS standards.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives, infection control programs, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to resident-centered care, advocacy, and maintaining resident dignity and safety.
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Responsabilités

• Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions
