Job summary

Century Care Management is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse supervisor for Adams Farm Living Inc. in Jamestown, NC. The role oversees nursing activities, administers medications, and coordinates care on weekend shifts while ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ADN or BSN program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing processes, care planning, and clinical assessment.
• Ability to perform comprehensive resident assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Skilled in medication administration, wound care, IV therapy (where permitted), and complex clinical interventions.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care facilities, including CMS standards.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives, infection control programs, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to resident-centered care, advocacy, and maintaining resident dignity and safety.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing activities of the nursing station on each shift and organize and assign tasks based on resident population, staff qualifications, and physical structure.
• Make rounds to observe and evaluate residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Prepare and administer medications; chart as required; give treatments.
• Consult with physicians; communicate with the director of nursing and staff.
• The role is delegated responsibility to carry out duties in accordance with federal/state regulations and company policies.
