Job summary

Century Care Management Inc in Jamestown, NY is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to deliver comprehensive resident care in our long-term care setting.

You will perform detailed assessments, plan and implement individualized care, and collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
  • Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing processes, care planning, and clinical assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
  • Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
  • Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and side-effects of medications.
  • Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and chart updates.
  • Assist with daily activities (eating, bathing, etc.) and provide basic care.
  • Administer injections, medications, IV therapy (where permitted), wound care, and dressings.
  • Communicate with patients’ families to provide advice and support.
  • Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other staff as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and quality programs.
