Job summary

Serco is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the CNIC program. This on-site role based near Naples, Italy, focuses on RMF-based authorization, SSP development, and security control implementation for critical DoD systems. You will work with IS teams to ensure ACCURATE RMF artifacts and continuous monitoring.

The ideal candidate has a TS/SCI clearance, IAT II certification, and 8+ years in cybersecurity/IT. Travel up to 10% and a US passport are required.

Qualifications

Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
US citizenship required.
IAT Level II baseline certification required.
Bachelor's Degree in IT/Cyber or related discipline (or HS diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience).
Minimum 8 years of Cybersecurity/IT experience.
RMF and eMASS knowledge.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Valid US Passport required.

Responsibilities

Support the categorization of the Information System to be accredited through RMF and SSP development.
Assist in selecting applicable security controls and CCIs for the IS and STIG adherence.
Help develop MOUs/MOAs and ISCM plan/strategy.
Assist in implementing required security controls and performing ongoing IS security scanning.
Contribute to Security Assessment Plan development and SAR updates.
Support the POA&M preparation and Security Authorization Package updates.
Perform periodic assessments of security controls and coordinate remediation actions.
