Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the CNIC program from Naples, Italy.

The role focuses on RMF-based accreditation, SSP development, and continuous monitoring to ensure IATO/ATO readiness, with requirements for TS/SCI clearance, DoD experience, and international travel. The successful candidate will contribute to security control selection, plan development, and ongoing assessments, while coordinating with MOU/MOA processes and ensuring secure

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• An up to date Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification.
• RMF and eMASS knowledge and experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to pass and maintain health standards for AFRICOM AOR travel.
• Valid/Active U.S. Passport.

Responsibilities

• Support RMF categorization and SSP development for accreditation.
• Support selection of security controls and CCIs for IS/SSP.
• Develop MOU/MOA and ISCM plan/strategy.
• Assist in implementing required security controls.
• Assist in Security Assessment Plan development/approval.
• Implement and update IS security scanning tools and conduct periodic scans.
• Support SAR development and POA&M updates.
• Maintain and update Security Authorization Package.
• Perform periodic assessment of IS security controls.
• Conduct remediation based on monitoring results.

Education

Bachelor's Degree with Technical training related to Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related discipline

High School diploma/GED with Technical training related to Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of Cybersecurity or IT related knowledge and experience in lieu of degree
