Job summary

Serco is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the CNIC program, based in Naples, Italy. The role focuses on RMF accreditation, SSP creation, security control selection, ISCM planning, and continuous monitoring, with occasional international travel.

The candidate will assist in developing and reviewing security documentation (SAR, SSP, POA&M) and implement security controls, while maintaining compliance across the IS/organization. A TS/SCI clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• An up-to-date IAT Level II baseline certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber Security, CS, or related discipline or 10+ years of Cyber/IT experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 8 years of Cybersecurity/IT knowledge and experience.
• RMF and eMASS knowledge and experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to pass and maintain health standards required for AFRICOM AOR travel.
• Valid/Active U.S. Passport is required.

Responsibilities

• Support IS categorization and SSP development for RMF accreditation.
• Assist in selecting security controls and CCIs for IS/SSG/STIG.
• Help develop MOU/MOA and ISCM plan/strategy.
• Assist implementation of applicable security controls.
• Assist in Security Assessment Plan development, review, and approval.
• Maintain and upgrade IS security scanning tools and run periodic scans.
• Support SAR development and review.
• Support POA&M development and updates.
• Support Security Authorization Package development/update.
• Perform periodic assessment of IS security controls.
• Conduct remediation actions from monitoring results.
• Update SSP, SAR, RAR, and POA&M based on continuous monitoring.
