Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the CNIC program on our team. Based in Naples, Italy (travel to AFRICOM AOR as needed), you will help authorize systems through RMF to achieve IATO/ATO, and develop and implement continuous monitoring and security documentation.

The role requires a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, RMF/eMASS experience, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to maintain security posture across IS and

Qualifications

• An active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• An up-to-date Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification.
• A Bachelor’s Degree with technical training in IT/Cyber Security/CS or related discipline.
• Or a High School diploma/GED with technical training and min. 10 years Cybersecurity/IT knowledge in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 8 years of Cybersecurity/IT experience.
• RMF and eMASS knowledge and experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to pass and maintain physical health standards for AFRICOM travel.
• Valid/Active U.S. Passport.

Responsibilities

• Support RMF categorization and SSP development for IS.
• Assist in selecting security controls and CCIs for RMF/STIG.
• Help develop MOA/MOU and ISCM strategy.
• Support implementation of security controls.
• Contribute to Security Assessment Plan development and approvals.
• Maintain IS security scanning tools and perform periodic scans.
• Assist in SAR development.
• Help develop POA&M.
• Update Security Authorization Package.
• Perform periodic assessment of security controls.
• Lead remediation actions based on monitoring results.
• Update SSP/SAR/RAR/POA&M from continuous monitoring.
