You will build cash flow models, review filings, and contribute to investment recommendations, while leveraging Excel, Intex, Trepp and Bloomberg.

Qualifications

• Prior experience at a rating agency or buy-side investment firm with MBS expertise (CMBS/RMBS).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency with Excel, Intex, Trepp, and Bloomberg.
• Strong integrity, fiduciary responsibility; client focus and team player.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to leverage AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating RMBS and CMBS new issue transactions and surveillance.
• Formulate high-conviction investment recommendations across accounts.
• Review offering memoranda and interpret legal/structural provisions.
• Underwrite collateral including cash flows, DSCR, LTV, sponsor quality.
• Build and maintain cash flow models to assess structure and credit.
• Maintain data integrity in portfolio management and trading systems.
