Job summary

CIBC’s Residential Credit Finance & Securitization Group seeks an experienced RMBS structuring professional to support end-to-end deal structuring and execution for residential mortgage asset classes in New York. You will model cash flows, analyze collateral, and work with rating agencies and internal teams to ensure accurate, defendable outcomes.

Must have 5+ years in RMBS or related roles, strong Excel/Intex skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in RMBS structuring, securitization, mortgage analytics, or related roles.
• Deep knowledge of deal mechanics across residential mortgage sectors (Non-QM, Investor, Jumbo, Agency Investor, RTL).
• Advanced quantitative skills with Excel, Intex Dealmaker, Intex Calc, CAS, VBA, Bloomberg; strong collateral analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full structuring process for non-Agency RMBS transactions from pitching through close.
• Use Intex Deal Maker to construct cash flow waterfalls and model features.
• Partner with banking team to support rating agency process and credit enhancements sizing.
• Ensure offering documents reflect structuring assumptions and outputs.
• Run stress testing and scenario analysis including prepayments and defaults.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on internal model development and maintenance.
