Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, math, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in structured finance, securitization, banking, mortgage finance, or a relevant analytical role.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard Office applications.
• Organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Core Analytical Work Conduct RMBS transaction analysis, including assessment of collateral characteristics, deal structures, credit enhancement levels, and legal frameworks. Identify and focus on key credit issues during the new‑issue rating process.
• Committee & Internal Collaboration Serve as a co‑lead or back‑up analyst on selected transactions. Present analytical findings to rating committees with clarity and confidence. Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure accurate and consistent application of criteria.
• Modeling & Methodology Contribute to the enhancement of structured finance criteria, models, and analytical tools. Perform sensitivities, transaction comparisons, and stress‑testing tasks under the guidance of senior team members.
• Research & Publications Produce and publish market updates, newsletters, or concise commentary with minimal supervision.
• External Engagement Participate in meetings with bankers, issuers, investors, and other market participants to discuss transaction details and analytical considerations. Represent the team professionally in all client‑facing interactions.
